A Fairytale that Unites Continents!
Imagine a bridge built not of bricks and concrete, but of imagination, words, and cultures. That’s exactly the kind of bridge constructed by the participants of the international eTwinning project “A Bridge Built by Fairytales” — and among its architects were our very own gymnasium students!
This unique project brought together 14 schools from Turkey, Romania, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, and Croatia. Students aged 10 to 14 shared national fairytales from their countries, discovered new cultures, and developed their language, digital, and creative skills.
Over the course of several months, the participants:
-
created digital storybooks,
-
designed infographics,
-
presented fairytales in virtual formats,
-
compiled a joint e-magazine and a map of fairytales!
Digital tools such as Canva, Pixton, and StoryJumper helped transform traditional stories into modern, interactive masterpieces. The project received recognition on educational platforms and social media as an exemplary model of international cooperation and the promotion of cultural diversity.
From our gymnasium, four students from class 7-B — Daryna Arsenyuk, Albina Vorobiova, Dmytro Boiko, and Viktoriia Rudenko — actively participated under the guidance of their teacher, Tetiana Pavlivna Yakovlieva.
🎓 Tetiana Pavlivna is an inspiring educator who constantly engages her students in international educational initiatives, competitions, language clubs, and creative digital projects. Thanks to her enthusiasm, innovative approach, and modern vision of the learning process, students not only study English but use it in real intercultural communication — discovering the world and showcasing their talents on the international stage.
All participants received international certificates for their contribution. The project’s final outcomes and activities were presented in a specially designed virtual exhibition.
